Cornwall Planning Applications: Week ending November 28 | Part 3


Various planning applications have been validated by Cornwall Council and associated documents can be viewed online on the Council’s website planning portal.

You can search planning requests, decisions, appeals and executions by keyword, request reference, postal code or by a single address line.

There were a lot of nominations, so the list was split into three separate items.

Part Three town planning requests validated week during the week starting Monday, November 22, can be found below:

  • 3 Rock Road, Penzance TR18 4PJ: New home with attached garage and two additional garages.
  • Barripper Village Hotel, Botetoe Road, Barripper, Camborne, Cornwall TR14 0RR: One storey extension and related work.
  • Ferme Bara Pill, Trerulefoot, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 5DE: Change of use from a redundant rural building to residential (class C3) with variation of condition 2 of decision PA19 / 05143.
  • The Watermark, Hannafore Road, West Looe, Looe, Cornwall PL13 2DE: Changed the use of staff quarters at the rear of the hotel to two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and kitchen / living room. Creation of a terrace by moving the external staircase.
  • Trevengleth, Halvasso, Penryn, Cornwall TR10 9BY: Convert and expand an existing granite stone barn into a three bedroom dwelling.
  • Land northeast of Lancarrow Farm, Four Lanes, Cornwall TR16 6NJ: Determine if pre-approval is required for the change of use of a farm building to two residential houses.
  • Fir Tree Meadows Farm, Worvas Lane, Ruan Minor, Helston, Cornwall TR12 7LN: Three bay steel gantry farm building to provide covered and secure storage for farm machinery and fodder.
  • The Winnick, 17 Castle Drive, Falmouth TR11 4NF: Solid panel roof extension to the rear of the property.
  • Brea Heights, at the back of the St Moritz Hotel, Trebetherick, Wadebridge PL27 6SE: Conversion of the existing garage into a free-standing annex.
  • Land behind Sybwedhen, Trewirgie Road, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 2SZ: Non-significant change from Decision Notice PA20 / 08899 for the removal of the second floor plan and dormers.
  • Treveth, North Dimson, Gunnislake, Cornwall PL18 9PA: Replace the sump with a septic tank.
  • John Bull House, 8 St Peters Hill, Flushing TR11 5TP: One storey rear extension.
  • Land south of Gwel An Mor, Sandy Lane, Redruth TR16 5SS: Maintenance and completion of engineering operations including construction of level terraces, formation of lanes, installation of sumps and electrical connections and at the water. Change of use of part of the agricultural land to class B8 storage and parking of the shipping container.
  • Land west of Ashbury Grove, Week St Mary, Holsworthy, Cornwall EX22 6XS: Pre-application advice for a new residential development.
  • Tamar View, Farm Road from Sherwell Farm to Pheonix Works, Sherwell PL17 8HY: New detached garage.
  • 82 Portbyhan Road, West Looe PL13 2QN: New garage extension with balcony above.

  • Duchy of Cornwall Nursery Road from Gray Mare Farm to Cott Road, Lostwithiel PL22 0HW: New extension which will connect the existing store and cafe, including a new orangery, new mezzanine for offices and moving and increasing the provision of toilets for customers.
  • The Old Coach House, 34 Fore Street, Redruth TR15 2AE: Converting the front part of the ground floor of an old pub into a commercial unit. Conversion of the remaining ground floor and the first and second floors into eight residential apartments with a closed waste and bicycle storage room at the back.
  • Indian Queens Substation, B3279 from Gaverigan to Carne Hill, St Dennis PL26 8BY: Installation of a battery energy storage system.
  • Enfield, Wesley Road, Cubert TR8 5EU: Change of land use to a residential area, demolition of the existing bungalow, garages and outbuildings, construction of a replacement modern family home, conversion of an outbuilding into a technical room, conversion dependency in sports hall and the construction of a separate annex.
  • Former Trewynne Coombe, Ninnesbridge Road, Lelant Downs, Cornwall TR27 6NW: Release Condition 3 re Notice of Decision PA18 / 05639.
  • Park Way, Park Road, Fowey PL23 1ED: Rear veranda removed and replaced with an identical extension. Enlarge the existing porch. Flat roof dormers become sloped roof dormers.
  • Land southwest of Endean Farm, Goonown, St Agnes, Cornwall TR5 0LE: Field hay store.
  • Land northwest of Beechwood, Lesnewth, Boscastle, Cornwall: New home and garage.

  • Shangri La, West Polberro, St Agnes TR5 0ST: Replacement of the existing bungalow and garage with a new bungalow and skylight garage.
  • Wooda Farm Holiday Park, Poughill, Bude, Cornwall EX23 9HJ: Extension of the existing sanitary block.
  • Phil Green Plant Hire, Trethem, St Just In Roseland, Cornwall: New public works dwelling intended for occupancy by the operator / business owner including removal and relocation of the existing hangar.
  • Saint-Michel Church, Tubbs Mill Road to Caerhays Castle, St Austell PL26 6LY: extension of the existing cemetery.
  • 11 High Cross, Truro TR1 2AJ: New entrance hall in the basement.
  • Higher Mellingey, Mellingey Road, St Issey, Wadebridge, Cornwall PL27 7QU: Pre-application advice for the conversion of an old redundant stable building into habitable accommodation, attached to the main farm which is Grade II listed.
  • The Good Life Farm, Sion Road at South East Junction of Tremount, Trevellas, St Agnes TR5 0XR: Retrospective planning application for a PV generator, two rows of 10 panels associated with the farm.
  • 6 Bissom, Penryn TR10 9LH: Garage and office / annex apartment.
  • Carbis Bay Holiday Park, Laity Lane, Carbis Bay TR26 3HW: Complete application for 34 dwellings and associated works with modification of condition 2 of decision PA15 / 10302.

  • Surf Side, Polzeath, Wadebridge PL27 6TB: Site redevelopment consisting of the renovation and construction of a one-story rear extension, amphitheater and replacement terrace.
  • Land at West Carclaze and Baal Carluddon, St Austell, Cornwall PL26 8TX: Reserved Materials Approval for 3,300m² of allocations, access, parking, landscaping and associated works. The app covers all issues of appearance, scale, layout, access and landscaping (overall app PA14 / 12186).
